Adaptive Equipment Connection

ConnectAbility of MN’s expanded program, funded by CommunityGiving and Accra will provide adaptive equipment funded up to 90% of the cost of new equipment to families or individuals who could not otherwise afford these items.

These items can range from but are not limited to: mobility chairs, lifts, sensory items, specialty clothing, adaptive devices, Assistive Technology devices or programs, and environmental appliances.

GRANT FUNDED EQUIPMENT:

To be eligible for the Grant Funded Equipment the following criteria must be met:

  • Live in Stearns, Sherburne, Benton counties or in Watkins school district
  • Have a financial need
  • Have a diagnosed long term support disability.
  • Be able to contribute 10-20% of the total cost of the equipment (amount is determined by the AEC committee)
  • Abide by the grant reporting rules (Click here for  Cover letter for Adaptive Equipment Connection program)
  • Complete application

If you would like to support this program, we would be very grateful.  This program is 100% funded by grant awards, matching funds, and private donations.

We serve over 20 people/families a year, we would like to assist MANY MANY more.
