Lyft Pass Referral Processing

Lyft Pass Services are currently operating with a waitlist. Referrals will be kept on file and processed as capacity becomes available.

Renewals are prioritized to help prevent interruptions in transportation services. New referrals are processed in the order received.

Please submit referrals as early as possible, especially renewals, to allow adequate processing time before current services expire.

Important – Lyft Pass Eligibility & Requirements

Please ensure the participant meets the following requirements before submitting a Lyft Pass referral:

• The participant is able to independently use the Lyft app on a smartphone.
• The participant has a smartphone with an active cellular data plan (or reliable internet access) to request and manage rides.
• The participant has a valid payment method linked to their Lyft account to cover any charges not included in the Lyft Pass, such as ride costs exceeding the available pass balance or other applicable fees.
• Lyft does not offer Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) service in Minnesota. Participants who require a wheelchair-accessible vehicle are not appropriate for the Lyft Pass program.
• Participants who use a foldable wheelchair that can be safely folded and independently loaded into a vehicle’s trunk may still be appropriate for the Lyft Pass program.

Please note: If the participant is unable to independently use the Lyft app or requires a wheelchair-accessible vehicle, please consider referring them for an alternative transportation service that better meets their needs.
