Environmental Home Assessments

Our project managers are certified access specialists (CASp) through the state of Minnesota.

They will perform an environmental accessibility assessment of your home to help identify areas that could be improved for mobility and safety.

Our specialists will look at the construction and layout of your home as well as how you and others use your home. They will look at flooring, hallways, doorways, bathrooms, and kitchens to determine how accessible they are.

Very often these assessments result in a comprehensive plan to help keep the person in their home longer.

The Project Coordinator will determine any additional assistive technology options that could improve your safety, such as a lift or ceiling tract system.

They will also recommend products that can address other needs so that you can maintain or increase your independence safely.

Upon completion of the assessment, we will present your case manager a comprehensive report for further discussion.
