Fall is in the air, and with the changing of the season comes new, fun events from United Cerebral Palsy of Central Minnesota.
Super Strikers Bowling League 2018
Every Saturday in October and again in February, come join ConnectAbility of MN at Great River Bowl and build muscle while having a blast! This easily accessible family event is great for families that want a fun weekly outing or a change of pace. Just don’t miss the last week in February, as we conclude the fun with a pizza party!
Call or email ConnectAbility of MN to register your child. You can also help out as an assistant to bowlers, or be a sponsor for a lucky bowler!
ConnectAbility of MN Party 2018
The annual ConnectAbility of MN Halloween Party is making its ghoulish return on October 23rd! This spooktacular event is all-inclusive, with events, games, and treats for everyone. It also includes dinner, entertainment, and a costume contest – so come dressed in your best!
This year’s entertainment is comedy magician Jerry Frasier, who has over 20 years of experience. Jerry, a former educator on the east coast has a distinctive style and is great at getting his audience involved!
RSVP to the party on our website. Businesses can donate funds or sponsor a game by providing volunteers or candy.
Stuck In Motion Stationary Bike Race 2018
Finally, the ConnectAbility of MN Stuck in Motion Stationary Bike Race event will take place in January, celebrating its 19th year! Teams and riders raise pledges for their participation in the event. Pledges are collected and turned in the day of the event, then we race for prizes and to raise awareness in our community.
This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and we’re looking for team captains. Captains recruit 8-10 riders for their team. Each rider raises funds to support their team. Pick a team theme, dress up together, and (of course) race!
You can support the race in other ways, too. Encourage others to join – especially local celebrities or athletes – or become a sponsor. Businesses that sponsor Stuck in Motion make the event a fun and exciting day.
You can find more info about each of our upcoming events on our website, or follow us on Facebook for news and updates. We hope to see you around this fall!
